The Joseph Downs Collection at the Winterthur Museum in Delaware is an amazing archival resource for designers who are licensees. The Chinese Figures are from watercolors that date from the late 18th and 19th century. Scott Potter has adapted these reproductions for this wonderful desk accessory set which include a 3′ x 5″ tray, a 3″ x 7″ tray, a 4″ oval paperweight, and an 8″ crystal handled letter opener. Created with handcut papers applied under the glass, the pieces are finished with many layers of gold gilding. The backs are completed with handmade papers and hand signed by Scott Potter. Alternate background colorations of either silver or white may also be requested.
