Winterthur Museum has the finest collection of decorative arts in the United States. As a licensee with this prestigious institution, Scott Potter was inspired to design with exquisite Chinese Figures from the Joseph Downs Collection. The handcut print has been combined under the glass with many layers of gold gilding and carefully sealed. The back has been finished with a handmade paper. Hand wash. Hand signed by Scott Potter. This tray is a wonderful companion piece to the the 3″ x 5″ tray and 4″ square tray, a three tray ensemble for desks with a matching paperweight and letter opener, all sold separately. The tray may also be used singly as an elegant decorative accent. Alternate background colorations of either silver or white may be requested.
