This elegant and colorful Chinese Figure from the Joseph Downs Collection at Winterthur Museum is a classic diminutive decorative object that may be used as a desk tray, small servingware piece, home accent or hostess gift. Handmade and hand signed by Scott Potter. The handcut figure is combined under the glass with many layers of gold gilding, finished on the back with a handmade paper, and then carefully sealed. Hand wash. Alternate background colorations of either silver or white may also be requested. This tray is a companion piece to the 4″ square tray, the 3″ x 5″ tray, letter opener, and paperweights which are all sold separately.
